21st July 2010

Congratulations to the Empty Raincoats on their victory in the Cup Final for the umpteenth year. Smiling Crocs gave them a very good, competitive game, but ultimately came up short when chasing a challenging 146 to win. The game was played out in the usual ARCS style: competitive, but fair. Congratulations also to Rajesh for his Man of the Match performance; a true all-round performance with bat (including attempted reverse sweeps), ball (a caught-and-bowled) and stand-in wicket-keeper. Finally, thanks to the Umpires (Dave Maynard & Jim Pettifor) and Scorer (Richard Avis) for their services, and to the Greyhound for their post-match hospitality.
